All Eyes on Phoenix: NBA All-Star 2027 Is Coming

Phoenix is about to become basketball’s main character again. For the first time since 2009, the NBA All-Star Game will light up the city — and if history repeats, it’ll bring celebrities, influencers, and pop-up madness right to downtown.

What We Know So Far

  • Where: Footprint Center (home of the Suns)

  • When: February 2027 (exact weekend TBA)

  • Why it matters: the All-Star Game generates tens of millions in tourism revenue and basically turns downtown into a celebrity block party.

What Locals Can Expect

  1. Hotel stampedes. Rates will triple within walking distance of the arena — staycation folks should book early.

  2. Pop-up collabs. Expect sneaker releases, limited-edition merch, and maybe even a Travis Scott–meets–Jordan collab somewhere in Roosevelt Row.

  3. Restaurant reservations vanish. Especially hotspots like Pomo, The Arrogant Butcher, and Chico Malo.

Pro Tip

Don’t wait until 2027. Downtown’s already adding rooftop bars and lounge spaces prepping for the crowd. Make a list now of your go-to hangouts before they’re “discovered.”

We’ll be tracking every All-Star-related opening and event drop — follow Phoenix Finds for updates before the hype hits ESPN.
